Ecommerce development

Online stores engineered around your catalog, your checkout and your back office.

Custom storefronts, Shopify integrations and headless commerce, connected to payments, inventory, ERP and analytics.

  • Money handled as integers with currencyNo floating-point totals or rounding surprises.
  • Payments verified by webhook, not redirectOrder state follows the provider, not the browser.
  • Sync failures are visibleErrors are logged and alerted instead of lost.

Where commerce projects get stuck

  • The catalog does not fit the platform

Configurable products, bundles, B2B price lists or very large catalogs strain default product models.

  • Orders live in two systems

Stock, prices and order status are synced manually or through brittle connectors that fail silently.

  • Checkout loses buyers

Slow pages, awkward payment flows and unclear errors add friction at the moment it costs most.

  • Selling abroad is bolted on

Currencies, taxes, languages and shipping rules are patched in rather than designed.

What we build for commerce

  • Custom online stores

Storefronts and order logic built for your products and buying rules when platform themes cannot express them.

  • Shopify integrations and extensions

Apps, custom checkout logic, metafields and sync with external systems when Shopify is the right core.

  • Headless commerce

Decoupled storefronts on a commerce engine of your choice, for performance and design freedom.

  • Subscriptions and recurring billing

Plans, renewals, pausing, upgrades and failed-payment recovery handled as explicit states.

  • Product catalogs

Attributes, variants, bundles, price lists and search designed for how buyers filter and compare.

  • Checkout and payment integrations

Payment providers, wallets and local methods, with idempotent order creation and webhook handling.

  • ERP and inventory integration

Two-way sync of stock, prices, orders and customers with the systems that run fulfillment and finance.

  • Analytics and reporting

Event tracking, funnel reporting and order data you can reconcile with finance, with consent respected.

  • International commerce

Multi-currency, localized content, tax and shipping rules configured per market.

A headless commerce stack, layer by layer

  1. Storefront

Server-rendered pages for categories, products and content, tuned for speed and search.

  2. Commerce engine

Cart, pricing, promotions and orders, either a platform API or custom services.

  3. Integration layer

Queued jobs sync inventory, orders and customers with ERP, warehouse and CRM, with retries and alerts.

  4. Payments

Provider integration with webhook verification and idempotent order state transitions.

  5. Data and reporting

An order and event store that supports finance reconciliation and funnel analysis.

From catalog audit to live store

  1. Catalog and operations audit

We review products, pricing rules, fulfillment and the systems orders must reach.

  2. Platform decision

Custom, Shopify or headless is chosen on your constraints, with trade-offs written down.

  3. Storefront and checkout build

Browsing, search, cart and checkout are delivered first, since they carry the revenue path.

  4. Integrations and migration

Payments, ERP and data migration are built and tested against realistic orders.

  5. Launch and tuning

Staged release, monitoring of failed payments and sync errors, then iteration from real behavior.

Typical timeline for a commerce build

Typical durations for this kind of work. Real timing depends on scope, integrations and how quickly decisions are made.

  1. Step 1: Audit and platform decision

    1 to 3 weeks

Catalog, operations, integrations and architecture choice.

  2. Step 2: Design

    2 to 4 weeks

Storefront, product pages and checkout flows.

  3. Step 3: Build and integrate

    6 to 16 weeks

Largely driven by the number and quality of external systems.

  4. Step 4: Migration and launch

    2 to 3 weeks

Data import, test orders, staged cutover.

Should we use Shopify or build custom?

If your catalog and checkout fit Shopify, it is often the faster and cheaper path, and we will extend it. Custom or headless makes sense when pricing rules, integrations or experience requirements push against platform limits. We recommend after seeing your operations.

Can you integrate with our ERP?

Usually yes, if the ERP exposes an API, database access or file exchange. We assess the interface early, because ERP quality often decides the schedule more than the storefront does.

What about PCI compliance?

We design checkout so card data goes directly to the payment provider and never touches your servers. Your exact obligations depend on your setup, so confirm them with your provider and advisers.

Can you migrate our existing store?

Yes. We migrate products, customers and order history with a mapping document and test imports, and set up URL redirects to protect existing search traffic.
