MVP development

From product idea to a working MVP without building the wrong thing first.

We work through scope, architecture, design, implementation, launch and analytics, so each step reduces risk and the next decision rests on evidence.

How early products go wrong

  • Too much, too soon

Every requested feature goes into version one, and the one thing that mattered is hard to find.

  • A prototype that cannot grow

A quick build with no structure has to be rewritten the moment it works.

  • No way to learn

Without analytics and a feedback loop, launch day produces opinions, not evidence.

  • Design left for later

Confusing onboarding makes a sound idea look like a weak one.

What an MVP engagement includes

  • Scope and prioritisation

A written scope with what is in, what is explicitly out and why.

  • Architecture

A pragmatic technical plan that avoids both over-engineering and dead ends.

  • Product design

User flows, interface design and a prototype for testing.

  • Implementation

Web and mobile builds delivered in weekly increments you can use.

  • Launch preparation

Hosting, error monitoring, analytics events and onboarding content.

  • Post-launch iteration

A short loop of measuring, deciding and shipping improvements.

What we protect while keeping scope small

  • A defined learning goal

Each release exists to answer a stated question about users or the market.

  • A sensible foundation

Authentication, data model and deployment are done properly, even when features are minimal.

  • Measurement from day one

Key events are tracked, with consent respected, so launch produces usable data.

The path from idea to iteration

  1. Idea

We test the problem, the audience and the riskiest assumption before anything is designed.

  2. Design

Core flows and a clickable prototype are shown to real users to cut guesswork early.

  3. MVP

We build the smallest product that can test your assumption, on a foundation that can grow.

  4. Launch

Hosting, monitoring, analytics events and support basics are ready before the first users arrive.

  5. Iteration

Usage data and feedback decide what is built, changed or dropped next.

Typical MVP timeline

Typical durations for this kind of work. Real timing depends on scope, integrations and how quickly decisions are made.

  1. Step 1: Scope and validation

    1 to 3 weeks

Assumptions, users, scope and a technical plan.

  2. Step 2: Design and prototype

    2 to 4 weeks

Flows and a prototype tested with target users.

  3. Step 3: Build

    6 to 12 weeks

Core workflow, accounts and any payments in weekly slices.

  4. Step 4: Launch and first iteration

    2 to 4 weeks

Release, monitoring and the first round of changes.

Book a call
How small should an MVP be?

Small enough to build quickly, large enough to test your riskiest assumption with real users. If a feature does not help answer that question, it usually waits. We help you draw that line and write it down.

Will we have to rebuild after the MVP?

Not if it is built on sensible foundations. We keep features minimal but structure code, data and deployment so you extend the product rather than replace it. Some parts may still change as you learn.

Can you help before we have a full specification?

Yes. Many engagements begin with only an idea. The scoping phase produces the specification, so you do not need to arrive with one.

Do you take equity instead of fees?

No. We work on a normal commercial basis, with scope and fees agreed up front.

Tell us about your product idea

Describe the problem, who has it and what you have done so far. Rough is fine.
